Our goal is to use our business success to improve the lives of smallholder coffee farmers and their communities. For our customers here in the United States, we want to give you more than just an amazing cup of coffee. We want our work to introduce you to new flavor experiences, connect you to your community, and introduce you to the lives of those who bring you your daily cup.

To do so, we are committed to:

  • Authenticity: We aim to be authentically ourselves, and we want you to feel the same way. Not sure what a pour over is? Just ask us! Like your coffee with milk and sugar? Go for it! Having a bad day? Tell us about it! In return, don’t be surprised if we sometimes make mistakes, run out of something you love or if our website doesn’t work perfectly every time. We’re doing our best to create a great experience for you, but we’re still learning and growing along the way.
  • Community: We want to create a place where you feel welcome and can connect to friends, old and new. Introduce yourself and tell us what you’re passionate about. Chat up the person sitting next to you. Come to one of our Sunday Salons, meet ups or book swaps. Have an idea for your own event? Host it at our pop up shop. Life is sweeter when you share it with others.
  • Integrity: We want you to love the coffee we serve. If you’re not happy with your choice for whatever reason, please let us know and we’ll do our best to fix it.
  • Generosity: We believe that you get what you give in this life. We are committed to sharing our success with the hard-working farming communities who made it possible. We donate a portion of our profit and 100% of our tips to education and development projects in the coffee lands. Right now, we are dedicating our funds to:
    • Cup for Education, a 501c3 non-profit that builds schools and libraries in Guatemala.
    • Pueblo a Pueblo, a 501c3 non-profit through whom we are sponsoring an elementary school student’s primary education.
